Welcome back to school to all our Kenton families! It is really exciting to look forward to a brand new year filled with awesome learning experiences, activities and events.
We are sure that you had an awesome and relaxing festive season filled with fun, laughter and loads of spoils. Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year at Kenton Primary as we continue to strive to fully prepare our learners for life in an ever changing world.
At Kenton Primary the dedicated staff and School Governing Body members remains passionate to ensure that we create and maintain a special and safe environment for our learners to experience the best teaching and learning. We are extremely happy to serve in this awesome and supportive community and we wish to provide the best service to all the families we serve. We will strive to implement the Curriculum creatively and enhance the learners hunger for lifelong learning and implement a wide variety of activities to ensure that our learners can participate in and grow in a balanced manner doing what they love. We will continue to motivate our learners to live the values of honesty, trust, respect and care.
Together with our dedicated staff, we acknowledge that all our learners are different and they have different needs, strengths and personalities. We will strive to ensure that we collaborate with social workers, therapists, the district office and other professionals in the community to support our learners with all aspects of their growth and development including social emotional learning. We will continue to build on Our Kenton motto of “Excelsior” meaning “Ever Upwards” Our learners must understand that with the learning they receive at Kenton Primary, they will be able to attend any Secondary school as we are preparing learners to become responsible, hardworking and caring citizens who can pursue their dreams with confidence. We will continue to stay true to our mission where, “Every child is treated with respect and care and encouraged to achieve their potential in a loving, safe environment.”
